The Soul of Leadership

Leadership is a mysterious and elusive concept. What we read as the story is actually the creation of myths. An ordinary person, the society created a Napoleon or Gandhi, a Martin Luther King or a Juana de Arco, a person who takes on mythical status as a shaper of destiny. We know the first steps towards this transformation. Each group, naturally, produces leaders that guide his followers toward a common goal. However, some leaders fail while others succeed. Some are destroyed by a defective strategy or the overwhelming stress of his role. And when crisis arises, and is need of great leaders, there is a constant threat that such figures do not appear, leaving the infamous ‘leadership vacuum’ that has become a chronic problem in modern society. Perhaps suspect both leaders that we can already create them great? The answer lies in the understanding of human consciousness…
