      Hi @aurorac,

I don’t know any way to private message you so will have to put this on the forum. I mean this in a positive way. The poem you edited and changed is interesting. However, the words I wrote were the words I was using to express my thoughts and meaning. As a writer, having someone else edit my thoughts and words without asking me, changes the message and the energy of the message. I tend to change my own words and edit sometimes, but sometimes the words are given to me so I write them. I did not consciously think of the verses I sent, they were given to me if that makes any sense.

      Just something to consider.

      Thanks,

Hi dear @susan, thank you for your message! πŸ™‚
I have offered you my email address in another place on the forum where you asked for that. But here it is again (carlson dot aurora at gmail com). Please feel free to email me with any issues concerning the forum or me personally, or to say anything you have to say here on the forum!

I have not changed anything in your poem, but we have indeed worked as a group, as one, with a goal we all share- to have fun and enjoy ourselves while creating something nice together. In that process, many lines including yours and mine have been reshaped to give a balance of rhyme and rhythm to the whole. If you read the entire thread you will surely notice how many times and in how many ways everyone has been asking for permission to shape our common creation in a harmonious way, as it needs to be done if we want to do something together and not apart. Everyone is free to say what they think and agree or disagree of course! πŸ™‚ As long as we are doing it from love and unity it’s all good.

We would very much like to continue to have fun and be friendly with each other, for that’s the purpose of any healthy action. So please let me know here on the forum or via email what exactly you wish πŸ™‚

Wow Psychedelicacy such a beautiful poem! Thank you !! Simply wonderful πŸ™‚ Reading it, I got to realize that there is a need for a space on the forum for all the awesome poets gathered here. So the moderation team has decided to open a Poetry and Art Room πŸ™‚

Please everyone @krista @psychedelicacy @sree @derek-whitney @susan @lindzyb, everyone else , feel free to post all your beautiful creations related to YATU topics in our new Poetry and Art Room, share your pictures or videos or any other artistic expression you give life to by yourself or together with other members!

As to the little poem we are playing with together here, anyone who likes the idea and wants to play is very welcome to do so. I know Deepak, Menas, and I love to participate! Also, anyone who doesn’t like what’s being written is welcome to either suggest other versions or to just post their own separate poems. Whatever you want to do, please SAY SO and be happy about it! If everyone knows what everyone wants, we can move forward in the best way. @susan, we are waiting for your decision about your participation, you don’t seem to like the poem (you called it “interesting”) and so let us know if you prefer to post separately instead, or if the poem becomes good enough for you if we reverse to your initial lines. Whatever you prefer, it’s no problem at all, we’ll do so.

So, as our poem up to now has turned out to be in verse with a specific structure (rhyme A, rhyme A, rhyme B, rhyme B: punchline B) here is my suggestion for transforming Menas’ free verse contribution to this form:

Like ships passing by each other at night
We go through life aloof, despite
      us being sisters and brothers,
      forgetting there are no others.

We’re all sons, daughters, mothers and fathers.

In the vast universe, the Master Captain, our true Self
guides us, its infinite number of ships – to itself,
to the other shore, with loving care and steady hand
reminding us the ancient Truth we now might understand

You Are That, You Are the Universe, you are not small, but grand.
      ——————–

It’s just a suggestion, please anyone with better ideas jump in πŸ™‚

Psychedelicacy, do you want to have your new poem baked into this one, transformed to rhyme? Or do you prefer to post it as a separate topic in the Poetry and Art Room? The one doesn’t exclude the other. I hope you post it in any case! I hope that all of us who love to create and also savor poems and art can nourish an awesome corner where deeper truths are expressed this way.

Yes it does, Sree! It takes all the words to make the Uni-verse, and all their interpretations too!
A teacher asked her students to use the word “beans” in a sentence. “My father grows beans,” said one girl. “My mother cooks beans,” said a boy. A third student spoke up: “We are all human beans.”

Here’s looking at you kid (he said, staring at the paper on which words are read and totally busting the shibboleth).
Should we open a section for spirit jokes? πŸ™‚

I love you too Psychedelicacy πŸ™‚ We are love speaking, that’s what we are, that alone is.
The ringing and pressure in your physical head is simply a tension created by the energy gathering excessively in that area. That is due to excessive worry, which is due to the illusion of problems to be solved.

In reality, the problems which might cause worry, fear, anger, frustration and any other distortion of our energy, those “problems” are just inventions of our own fantasy. When we believe in the problem, we’re off to struggle to solve it πŸ™‚ But if we instead learn to relax and look again, we’ll see that all the problems were our own creations, and that we are and have always been safe, powerful and loving πŸ™‚

At least this is one way to put it, there are a million others, haha…I could try to put it in verse…

I’m so glad I got to talk to you. I just have such fear that death is either eternal hell or eternal nothingness. I’ve had a rough life. I drank DXM and apparently went unconscious for 5 minutes. I woke up with no emotion, memory and damaged senses. I don’t believe in the scientific worldview anymore at all, but I still feel like there could be something more while being nothing after death. I still have the lack of that mental stuff. Last year I jumped 30 feet off my roof, broke my pelvis, both my ankles, fractured my spine and bruised my lung. But I survived and I can still walk. Although I had 4 surgeries. I was in a wheelchair. I’ve just had it terrible. But I’m thankful for being alive. And I just don’t want hell or nothing after death. I forgive everyone and everything. I love everyone and everything. I just hope everyone and everything can forgive me for doing what I did.

Dearest Psychedelicacy, you know… we all have a story to tell, for we have all been seeking. On the path to what we are looking for, as we initially don’t even know what it could be that we seek, we do all kinds of things. That’s the joy of being a person!

But before being a person, we are. If you say “I am Psychedelicacy” you will be all those difficult experiences. But those experiences are long gone. If you drop the memory of that and don’t insist that is who you are, what is left is “I am”.

Right now, you are. The question is- who do you want to be? The paper lies blank before you, and all you need to do is call on the story you wish to experience. Who would you like to be instead? If only I AM is permanently true, then what comes after that is up to you.

Death? Yes, luckily, you can let go of the story of that person you have been, but you don’t have to drop the physical body for that πŸ™‚ Just re-construct it! The body is a process, the mind is a process, your whole person is a process. From Being, you can re-construct it at any time. So… if you have a little faith in your own creative potential, and if you are willing to drop the old story… what story would you like to embody? Give yourself some time to dream sweet dreams πŸ™‚

I hear you in me. Whispering your voice. I hear you say things.

I just want you to be safe. And I love you. You took away my fear. You’re beautiful.

By the way have you heard Mooji? I love talking to you. I’ll look forward so much to spending time connected to you. I never knew we could communicate across space even in our minds.

    Hi everyone!

There is a prayer that comes in my heart as a wish.

I wish my life is like a candle of hope.

I wish that the darkness of this universe disappears through my prayer.

I wish there be light everywhere in this universe.

I wish the universe attains infinite elegance.

Just like a garden is beautiful with the presence of flowers,

May my wish be fulfilled through my prayer.

    Love & Regards,

    Richa

Hi dear beautiful @richa ! Thank you for sharing your absolutely beautiful poem and prayer with us! With all my heart, I wish you the fulfillment of your prayer- may all and any darkness vanish and only light remain in the universe that you are! This reminds me of a mantra from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishads, maybe it will bring you a smile πŸ™‚

Would you like to post your poem as a topic in our new Poetry and Art Room? That section of the forum could become our poetry book, where we can turn page after page of inspiring, Reality -expressing poetry.

Also, if you would like your poem to be included in the One poem we are creating on this thread, feel free to shape it yourself or tell us, so some One of all the One-s gathered here can do it πŸ™‚

All right my dear ones, let’s see what we’ve got. We’ve got a poem I think πŸ™‚ I have a question for the authors regarding this poem, so before I send it to them (and the poem itself, which might end up being read in a video by Deepak !) please let me know if you have ideas on how to polish it further while still keeping the essence of what wants to be said.

Also, all those involved @psychedelicacy @krista @sree @derek-whitney @lindzyb I hope it’s OK for your name to be married to this poem, and if you have reasons why not, speak now (over the next couple of days) or forever hold your peace (or maybe both, haha). Special thanks go to @susan for her contribution, and as requested by her, her name will not be married to this poem, as the conditions are not met, which we hope it can be pardoned for.

I am woo and woo is me,
    I am strength and delicacy,
    flux and stability,
    supreme complementarity.

    I AM omnipotent ability.

I hear all the flowers sing
I am the starshine taking wing
    The animating quality,
the ginger in a cup of tea.

I am you and you are me.

Source of the bow and each one arrow,
    mountain, dolphin, deer and sparrow,
    cast towards the formless goal
of no separation, one Loving whole.

I am each and every role.

Where none are first and none are last,
where life from thought is of the past,
where all are seen beyond the seeing,
where Love is lived in only being.

I am the freedom and the freeing.

I measure myself in endless ways,
As degrees, inches, pounds and days.
I sometimes think that I am not
yet death is but another thought.

In constructs I am never caught.

For what is birth? And what is death?
    Time to retire the shibboleth.
Look past the veil and see instead
The canvas of all writ and read

The omnipresence, when all is shed.
I am that I am – and that is enough,
the it from the bit, be it smooth or rough.
The bit in the it. The seer I am
    and also the scenery hologram.

Omniscient knower, knowing and known trigram.

    Awareness aware as the subject
of every experience, and also as object,
Experiencer, experiencing, experience – all three
    Arise in confluence in me.

I am that. That I am. That alone is me.

I straddle the universe with but a fraction
Of my limitless being in action,
    Resting in nonduality
    Effortlessly, consistently

I am above each fraction that’s rising expansively.

I swirl as the cosmos, my supernovas explode
For vacuum energy I’m the abode
I thunder and bellow, I whisper and hush
Symphonic and sonorous ocean and thrush.

The art and the artist, the muse and the brush.

Like ships passing by each other at night
We go through life aloof, despite
    us being sisters and brothers,
    forgetting there are no others.

We’re all sons, daughters, mothers and fathers.

In the vast universe, the Master Captain, our true Self
guides us, its infinite number of ships – to itself,
the other shore, with loving care and steady hand,
reminding us the ancient Truth we now might understand

You Are That, You Are the Universe, you are not small, but grand.

    Hi Aurora & all

please feel welcome to do as you feel inclined with the poem.

In truth it is not quite as I (or possibly as any of us indvidually) would write it and is clearly a melange of styles, thoughts, feelings & creative expressions, which was fun to be a part of.

Personally it feels that while our poem is ok, it also affirms why Rumi, Tagore & co did not write collaboratively, I sense, unlike an orchestra, poetry is, at it’s zenith deeply personal expression that, done well resonates with many.

While looking to be devoid of any ego based reaction to what is – I’d probably prefer not to be mentioned – perhaps it can be read as a group poem from multiple contributors (without naming names, although I have no issue at all with other contributors being named, if preferred ). Will accept & respect any decisions made though – as in the eternal invisible, unlimited reality of all – it matters not.

Looking forward to the continuing conversation on all fronts.

    Namaste from Oz

    Derek

Dearest @krista , I’m laughing with you, for you have heard the laughter! I do, of course… I do! I guess it belongs together with Deepak’s dobedobe dooo… if you have ever heard him hum that tune πŸ™‚

@sree , there is no doubt that you are in the state of enthusiasm, which some explain as “in theos”, right in the middle of the universal fountain of creation! “Yes, I do” turns on the creative outpouring, while “no, I don’t” turns off the tap. Happy divine showering!

@derek-whitney so happy I am that you look forward to continued conversation! I do too, for I think that what we mainly do on this forum is find out more about truth. I want to know how we can live with, as you so well said, “no separation, one loving whole”. So I have asked the authors this question, I have asked everyone who is The Author, which means that I am asking the one loving whole to guide all its parts to the answer. Everyone who wishes to discuss this subject is welcome: How Do We Cooperate from Unity?
